Welcome to
APS (Boys) Sarwar Road

We Shall Rise & Shine...

Dear Parents and Students,
Develop a sound sense of discipline, character, initiative and a solid Academic Background.   You must devote yourself whole-heartedly to your studies, for that is your first obligation to yourselves, your parents and to the State. You must learn to obey for only then you can learn to command.’
 Quaid-e- Azam (Islamic College, Peshawar - 12th April, 1948)
As Principal of APS (Boys) Sarwar Road, I would like to welcome you to our website. This website has been prepared in the hope that it will become a valuable resource for you and provide you with school news and information. This website has been developed to enable everyone to become familiar with our school, its policies, and other procedures.
My vision for APS (Boys) Sarwar Road is to provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each student, both academically and socially. Our motto for this year is “Building Hands Together” towards peace and harmony for our country and future generation.
It is my sincere pleasure to work with our dedicated staff and community to help provide an excellent educational experience for our students. We are committed to ensuring that your children receive the best support to learn and grow equally.
In the uncertain times of the 2019-2020 school year, there are two things we know for certain:
1) This year is different than any school year in the history of our school;
2) Our families and students can still count on APS (Boys) Sarwar Road being a place of community and support!
School may look different this year with online learning and, hopefully, at some point returning to face-to-face learning (Insha-Allah). Yet what will never change is our commitment to serving our students, families, and community with care, compassion, and dedication.
We call our community the “APS (Boys) Sarwar Road Family” because we want our school family to be an extension of your family. We want to serve you in times of joy, happiness, and triumph, but also in times of challenge, grief, and struggle. Academic learning and growth are our bottom line, yet we also understand that educating students means being attentive to the “whole child” and caring about their social and emotional well-being.
Our teachers and staff care about the students, and we love to be a part of their learning and growth during these important years of development. We love having parents in our school and contributing to our positive school culture, whether that is mostly online or in-building this year. Parents and community are a big part of who we are, and we want you to help us tell our story.
At the APS (Boys) Sarwar Road better prospects wait for your child. We have an outstanding standard of teacher recruitment along with different professional development courses for teachers, as we persevere on this path. It is quality education with 21st Century skill-based upbringing that will speak for a huge difference between your child and the rest.
Families, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all play a part in helping our students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we can make a positive difference. A strong partnership between home and school fosters greater success for our children. Parents are invited to support the vision of our school. We encourage parents to communicate with teachers and staff to foster a successful partnership.
We are excited for the opportunity to work with you and your child to provide a safe and productive learning environment. I encourage you to stop in or call me to share ideas, concerns, or questions. Along with the faculty and staff, I wish you a safe, healthy, peaceful and successful year (Aameen).
